By using the Site, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your information by us in the manner described in this Privacy Policy and elsewhere on the Site. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will alert you to any such changes by updating this Privacy Policy.

User ID e Password Management
1. Access to services is reserved to registered customers and only permitted through the use of a User ID and a password.

2. The User ID and password are strictly personal, and their use is allowed, under the terms of the General Conditions, only to the customer who has undertaken the registration. The customer is responsible for carefully safeguarding the User ID and password and keeping them secret, and must notify AltaSelect as soon possible in case of loss or theft by sending an e-mail to info@altaselect.it. AltaSelect declines any responsibility for the illegitimate or improper use of the User ID and/or the password and for any damage the registered customer and/or third parties may incur as a result. AltaSelect nevertheless reserves the right to take whatever legal actions are necessary to protect its rights in this regard.

3. The registered customer must provide AltaSelect with the personal information requested by the service, guarantee its truthfulness, accuracy and completeness, and notify AltaSelect in the event of any changes. Any information supplied in requesting the original registration will be included in the registration data ("Registration Data"). All the registration data of the customer will be used and handled by AltaSelect in full respect of the privacy and security regulations set out by law, as indicated in the above information on privacy.
   
Informative note in accordance with Art. 13 of the Italian law 196/03 (c.d. Privacy Law)
This is to inform you that Law no.196/03 provides for the protection of persons and other subjects regarding treatment of their personal data.
Personal data is understood to be any information regarding individuals or corporate bodies, organizations or associations enabling univocal identification, either direct or indirect, of the party concerned.

- Treatment of personal data is understood to be its:
- gathering, recording, organization and keeping;
- processing, selection, extraction and comparison;
- modification, blocking, cancellation and destruction.
- In compliance with the above law, said treatment will be according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and safeguarding of your privacy and rights.

The data concerning you and deducible from the present form will be treated, also with informatic and telematic instruments, for the purpose of providing you with the information you requested and to keep you updated on future promotions and new products.
The aforesaid law provides for your permission both for the treatment of the data, and eventually even sensitive data, and its communication to third party companies, in particular belonging to the Amplifon group; the lack of permission to communicate will not have consequences, whereas, without permission to treat your data we cannot meet your request to be updated and informed on the commercial initiatives and novelties regarding Amplifon products.

Right of the concerned party
1. In relation to the handling of personal data the concerned party has the right:
a) to be made aware of the existence of the handling of data that may concern him/her; for this purpose, the concerned party shall be granted free access to the register referred to in Article 31, sub-section 1, letter a);
b) to be informed of those matters indicated in Article 7, sub-section 4, letters a), b) and h);
c) to obtain without delay - through the owner or manager - the following:
1) the confirmation that personal data concerning him/her exists or not, even if such data has not been registered, and the notification in an intelligible form of such data and their origin, as well as how and to what purpose his/her data will be handled. The request may be renewed, barring the existence of justified motives, with a time interval of no less than ninety days;
2) the deletion, transformation in anonymous form or the block of the data handled in violation of the law, including those data whose preservation is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data has been collected or subsequently handled;
3) the updating, correction or, should he/she deem it appropriate, the integration of data;
4) the declaration that the procedures referred to in 2) and 3) - as well as their content - have been made known to those to whom the data were communicated or diffused, except where this proves impossible or involves the use of means clearly disproportionate with respect to the protected right;
d) to oppose, wholly or partially, for legitimate reasons, the handling of his/her personal data, although they are pertinent to the purpose of the collection.
e) to oppose, wholly or partially, the handling of his/her personal data for purposes of commercial information or for sending advertising material or for direct selling, or for carrying out market research or interactive commercial communication, and to be informed by the owner, at the time when the data is communicated or diffused, of the possibility to exercise such right free of charge.

2. For each request as referred in sub-section 1, letter c), number 1) a charge may be asked of the concerned party, where the existence of data concerning him/her is unconfirmed; such charge may not be in excess of the costs actually sustained, and shall be in accordance with the procedures, and within the limits set forth by the rules as referred to in Article 33, sub-section 3.

3. The rights as referred to in sub-section 1 regarding personal data on deceased persons may be exercised by anyone who has interest.

4. In exercising such rights referred to in sub-section 1, the concerned party may confer authorization or proxy in writing to persons or associations.

5. The rules regarding confidentiality of those exercising the profession of journalist are still in effect, limited to the source of information.
